Nashville may be known for Princess hot chicken, Loveless Cafe biscuits, and Belle Meade Bourbon but there is a new Queen in town. In honor of National Cupcake Day, I am naming The Cupcake Collection as not only the Best Bakery in Nashville but I declare they have the Best Cupcakes in Nashville.
They have been serving up cupcakes for the last ten years and The Cup Cake Collection is now a staple in Music City.
If you’ve had a bad day, your kids have gotten on your one last nerve or you just need to indulge without worrying about counting calories allow The Cup Cake Collection to be a source of peace.
You can taste the love, Mignon Francis, the owner puts into each cupcake. From the moment you walk into the door at The Cup Cake Collection, you are more than just a customer you are truly treated like family and they do their best to make sure you feel the love.
Before you know it this unconsuming house on 6th Street will be your own little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
What Makes Them The Best Cupcakes In Nashville?
It takes just the right amount of love, tenderness, and understanding to get the perfect cupcake. The cake needs to be fluffy and so moist it just melts in your mouth, the frosting needs to be sweet but not too sweet and stacked high, but not so high that you’ll go into a diabetic coma after indulging in one cupcake.
The Flavors
The “Classic” flavors are available every day but their “Special” flavors change daily and don’t forget about the holiday flavors as well.
Luckily for Nashville, the Cupcake Collection understands what it takes to make the perfect cupcake.
There are tons of great flavors to choose from including the holiday collection which consists of campfire s’mores, Hot Chocolate, and Eggnog which is just in time for National Cupcake Day.
Top Reasons to Eat Cupcakes for National Cupcake Day.

- Perfect Mother/Daughter Date Night
- You could lose weight
The Cupcake Collection is a hidden gem well worth searching for located in downtown Nashville on 6th Avenue convenient to the Farmers Market off Rosa Parks.
The bakery is located in a house so you have to look for it otherwise you will ride right past it.
Park on the street and hurry in to get all of the deliciousness and while the house itself is small you are more than welcome to sit on the patio and savor the flavor of your cupcake along with a cup of coffee.
There is also the option of sitting in your car and eating them all right outside of the bakery.
The Cupcake Collection is closed on Saturdays so they are inviting their customers to #FollowtheJoy to the bakery on Sunday, December 16th!
