I have not been to Six Flag Over Georgia since I was a kid and boy oh boy I was so excited when I was invited to preview the all-new Justice League: Battle for Metropolis in 4D!
Who are these villains that have invaded Six Flags Over Georgia’s new Justice League: Battle for Metropolis? My daughter Madison and I were called in to help Batman and Superman defeat these unsavoury characters and we were up for the challenge!!
The ride is housed in a huge and impressive building that combines 3-D video, special effects and more fun and excitement than you can ever imagine! My daughter Madison and I both were under the impression it was a kiddy ride like so many of the other laser rides we had ridden in the past but oh NO!! This was nothing like the slow moving laser rides of yesteryear. We boarded a six-person car for this epic journey to battle the bad guys, help out a few heroes and save Metropolis from the gloom and doom of the Villians who were there to take over and kill everyone in sight.
Justice League: Battle for Metropolis is really two rides in one: the video portion plus the incredible design that will have you screaming with a surprise around every twist and turn.
Have you ever wanted to know what it felt like to actually be in a comic book? Well, your dream is about to become a reality because once Madison and I got on the ride we were given 3-D glasses and a “laser gun” as we entered the Joker’s hideaway and Lex Luthor’s LexCorp to help destroy the bad guys and save Metropolis. With our Laser guns in tow, we took aim at the bad guys and tried our best to kill the villains.
This is not your grandmother’s laser ride we were surprised when flames came shooting out of the floor, the mist which prevented us aiming and fog effects, plus the car we were in took us on the ride of our lives with the turns, rocking from side to side and spins; Madison and I didn’t turn upside-down but we were screaming to the top of our lungs because it surely felt as though we were on one of the big roller coaster rides! It all turns Justice League: Battle for Metropolis into more than just a ride or a game. It’s an impressive adventure that will engulf the riders, making them part of the action and part of the story.
Madison was so impressed by the adventure that we had to go again and that says a lot for a 10-year-old who gets bored easily.
Justice League: Battle for Metropolis takes Six Flags to the next level.
WHY THE BATTLE FOR METROPOLIS?
The story of Justice League: Battle for Metropolis is one I have been enthralled in my entire childhood. Madison and I played a key role in that story to help free all of the superheroes that were captured by the Joker and Lex Luthor including Supergirl, the Flash, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern and we were there not to free the captured heroes but make sure they didn’t get their hands on Batman and Superman!
At the end of the ride you tally of up your score and whoever gets the higher score wins. Between us, I let my daughter win because that’s what mom’s are suppose to do.
Make sure you stop by the gift shop to grab a super hero cap, Wonder Woman ring or water bottle!

I was given a complimentary pass to Six Flags to give my readers a different perspective and to share my thoughts. All opinions expressed in my review are honest and my own. This post contains affiliate links.
The 4D experience can be mind-blowing and this looks like it held up to those expectations. Hopefully they’ll be bringing this to the six flags near Chicago so that I can check it out as well.
I haven’t been to Six flags in years! Seeing this post makes me realize I need to schedule in some downtime and make a trip over there…
I went to Six Flags over GA when my kids were younger and we loved it. My son would love the new super hero edition.
I haven’t been to Georgia but this will for sure be on my list of places to go!
Looks like loads of fun. My nephew and I are going to Six Flags America for the VIP opening & preview of the new Wonder Woman ride. Kinda nervous & kinda excited at the same time. lol
Loved seeing her go all super hero! Six Flags over GA was the first amusement park I ever attended in my life. It will always have a special place in my heart.
I was there and my kids had a blast. They are still talking about it. I am considering season tickets. Your pics are awesome.
Can’t wait to experience this. I’m planning on going in December over the holidays, will definitely look into it. I know my little cousins would enjoy it.
